Scientific Components & Mechanisms
- CJC-1295 (Mod GRF 1-29): A 29-amino acid peptide hormone, often utilized as modified GRF (1-29), acts as a Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH) analog. It has been modified for stability to resist degradation, significantly extending its half-life.
- Ipamorelin: A pentapeptide (5-amino acid) ghrelin mimetic that selectively binds to the ghrelin/growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R) in the pituitary gland. It triggers GH release while mimicking natural ghrelin, without significantly increasing prolactin or cortisol levels.
- Synergistic Action: CJC-1295 increases the duration of GH release (the “sustain”), while Ipamorelin increases the frequency/amplitude of release (the “spark”).
- Impact on IGF-1: The combination increases serum levels of IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor-1), which is responsible for mediating many of the growth-promoting effects of GH
